Don’t Listen To That Person!

The following is a transcript of a podcast I stumbled upon after waking up from a horrible nightmare. Read at your own risk. --C. A. Matthews*

Hi! It’s me, your favorite social media influencer of all time, Ima Queen, here with the news you really shouldn’t know. I mean it—you really should not know any of these details if you want to remain my friend or make friends with my well-connected friends in Tel Aviv. Got it? Good.

First off, we have a quick rundown from a recent lecture given by a first-class traitor of Israel, Miko Peled. You really shouldn’t listen to that man because he says so many stupid things. For instance:

“I grew up in a colony.” While Peled was growing up as the son of a IDF general in Jerusalem he says he learned that the “Arabs” in Israel were an inherently backwards people because they didn’t have electricity and running water and live in a European-styled city like he did. Only much later did he come to realize the reality of why Palestinians lived the way they did. He says it’s because Palestinians are being oppressed. (As if!)

Our second example is a young woman you definitely should not listen to if you know what’s good for you. You may remember her as an adorable teenager sitting in front of the Swedish Parliament “Striking for the Climate” or some other such nonsense. Now she’s all grown up and has attempted not one but two illegal invasions of Israeli territorial waters. How criminal can you get!

This last item is one that you definitely should not listen to, although actually it’s a book. If you ever find an audio version of it, do not listen to it! If you find a printed or electronic copy, get rid of it at once!

and all mourn the innocent blood that was spilled,

but in Gaza explosives just fall from the air
and nobody mentions who launched them, from where.

They talk about “blasts” and how buildings were “hit”.
Who blasted and hit them? Eh, who gives a shit.

It’s a little bit bomby outside, that’s the weather.
Put up your umbrellas, dudes. Get it together.

How To Succeed At War Crimes 

(Without Really Trying)

WARNING: The following is satire and is not to be taken seriously or followed in order to commit genocide UNLESS you’re already a war criminal like Joe Biden, Benjamin Netanyahu, or one of their sycophants. Then there’s no need for you to read any further really, is there? You’ve already written the war crimes playbook, haven’t  you?

 

 

An excerpt from the chapter How to Succeed at Genocide...

 

 

Step 0: First take a bunch of post-WWII European exiles and give them access to the British Mandate of Palestine. Let them call themselves “Israel” after an ancient kingdom mentioned in the Judeo-Christian Bible and pretend they have always lived in Palestine rather than someplace like Germany, France, or Poland. Once this lie is established as “fact” through various means of propaganda (See Step 6), you can then proceed with the following steps.

 

Step 1: If anyone accuses you of being bloodthirsty, racist, and/or a fascist, accuse them of “antisemitism” even if they are of Semitic origins, i.e. most Middle Easterners. Rinse and repeat as often as necessary to shut down all dialogue and to defame as many persons’ characters as necessary for your cause.

Step 2: Make friends with a big warmonger, one with a really big war machine that is hungry for profits for their military-industrial complex. Ask and receive military and financial aid from Big Warmonger consistently. If said Big Warmonger doesn’t put out the goods, lay on the guilt and accuse them of antisemitism (See Step 1) and tell their paid-off politicians they'll be no more briefcases full of cash until they do as they're told.

Step 3: Build your own nuclear bomb, or at least start rumors that you have built one while simultaneously denying the rumors. Make your neighbors in the region worry you might use the bomb on them or have your friend Big Warmonger (See Step 2) threaten to use their nukes on your behalf or invade said neighbor, taking their oil, pipelines, and whatever other desirable resources they might have.

Step 4: Label as “enemies” any persons who own any land and/or resources you desire. Do not let others tell you that these persons who have been living on the land you desire are, in fact, the actual owners of this land and its resources. If these “enemies” do not willingly give up the land and resources you desire, then force them into refugee camps and walled reservations with very limited means of getting in or out. Turn off their electricity and water at will to further emphasize your point that you now own all their land and resources.

Step 5: Denigrate and refuse to recognize your “enemies” as human beings. Call them names such as “human animals” or “terrorists” to dehumanize them as much as possible in the eyes of the world at large. Create propaganda scenarios where your “enemies” are seen as being only worthy of extermination. Even their children and elderly are to be painted as “vermin” that must be wiped off the face of the earth. If anyone argues that you are acting like a Nazi from the Third Reich, accuse them of antisemitism (See Step 1).

The Israeli army mobilized Ezra Yachin, a 95-year-old army veteran, to “motivate” the troops. Yachin was a member of the Lehi Zionist militia that carried out numerous massacres of Palestinian civilians, including the Deir Yassin massacre on April 9, 1948, where over 100 Palestinian civilians, many women and children, were slaughtered. 

“Be triumphant and finish them off and don’t leave anyone behind. Erase the memory of them,” Yachin said addressing Israeli troops.

“Erase them, their families, mothers and children,” he went on. “These animals can no longer live.” 

“Every Jew with a weapon should go out and kill them,” he said. “If you have an Arab neighbor, don’t wait, go to his home and shoot him.”--Chris Hedges: Let Them Eat Cement

Step 6: Plant a “false flag” to come up with a real good excuse to start the extermination of your “enemies.” You’ll know when the time has come, since you will have been keeping them under close surveillance for years. Manufacture circumstances that will produce the most outrage in your supporters. Milk it for all it’s worth in the mainstream media,that is with your top propagandists. Follow the following tenets of propaganda use for maximum effect:

1. We don't want war, we are only defending ourselves!

2. Our adversary is solely responsible for this war!

3. Our adversary's leader is inherently evil and resembles the devil.

4. We are defending a noble cause, not our particular interests!

5. The enemy is purposefully committing atrocities; if we are making mistakes this happens without intention.

6. The enemy makes use of illegal weapons.

7. We suffer few losses, the enemy's losses are considerable.

8. Recognized intellectuals and artists support our cause.

9. Our cause is sacred.

10. Whoever casts doubt on our propaganda helps the enemy and is a traitor.

Step 7: Repeat the above steps as needed to maintain the moral outrage and to cover your tracks whenever you slip up and get caught making false phone conversations, etc., to excuse bombing civilian targets such as churches and hospitals.

Step 8: Above all else, do not (repeat: do NOT) allow the rest of the world to see your "enemies" as human beings. This step cannot be emphasized enough. Once your supporters start seeing your "enemies" as actual human beings who have children and grandparents and homes and hospitals and schools and other relatable things, then you'll have lost the propaganda war. Sure, you might still do some massive extermination and raze a lot of useless buildings in order to build seaside condos, but you will never be able to rebuild the respect you once possessed in the western world. 

But if respect isn't particularly what you want or need, keep doing what you're doing until you run out of bombs to drop and bullets to shoot. The moment you do stop dropping bombs and shooting children, you're probably history. You've made a helluva lot of people righteously angry, after all. War crimes aren't for sissies.

It’s been difficult, if not next to impossible, to become excited by the American political scene in recent years. The whole electoral process itself seems like a sham, a game meant to distract the public away from things that really matter, like providing health care and housing for all. The race results are decided months, if not years, in advance. The billionaires/oligarchs know exactly who they want running the show so they can continue to benefit monetarily from their endless wars for resources. They know which Wall Street-owned candidate will turn a blind eye and give them a free hand to abuse the workers so production costs never cut too far into their profit margins.

Knowing the futility of making any mark on American elections makes me mad enough to throw a flaming Molotov cocktail into the whole stinking cesspool of politicians, wiping them off the face of the earth for good. Or maybe I could just throw a rock into their mansions’ front windows with a note attached declaring, “I'm mad as hell, and I'm not taking it anymore!”

A rock… Hey, that’s an idea!

Yard Rock recently announced his run for the White House via his campaign manager, Lee Camp. Yard Rock is very old in geologic age but very young when it comes to political campaigning. Still, he has an impressive platform worth supporting:

• Has never supported a war (and never will)

• Has never supported an increase in Pentagon spending (and never will)

• Did not support the Global War on Terror that has killed roughly 6 million people

• Did not support the invasion of Iraq

• Did not support the invasion of Afghanistan

• Did not support the invasion of Libya

• Has committed no war crimes (and never will) 

  

• Has committed no rape or sexual assault, nor even been accused (and never will)

• Has never supported the US prison state – largest prison population in the world (and never will)

• Has not been involved in increasing the US prison state (and never will)

• Has never supported corporate tax cuts (and never will)

• Has never supported Big Pharma (and never will)

• Has never supported Big Ag (and never will)

• Has never supported Big Oil (and never will)

• Has never supported Big Banks (and never will)

• Has never supported corporate media (and never will)

• Has never endorsed the persecution of Julian Assange (and never will) 

  

• Has never endorsed the propaganda known as Russiagate (and never will)

• Has never endorsed the anti-China propaganda (and never will)

• Has never supported cuts to food stamps, social security, medicare, medicaid, housing programs, public schools, infrastructure, or transportation (and never will)

• Has never raised questions about the veracity of the climate crisis (and never will)

• Has never supported the out-of-control police state (and never will)

• Has never endorsed the pathetic exploitative US healthcare system (and never will)

• Has never doubted or fought against Indigenous rights (and never will)

• Has never taken a dime from corporate America (and never will) 

  

• No Super PAC funding

• Never accepted donations from Big Pharma, weapons manufacturing, etc. (This rock is not a puppet!)

• Has never voted to send arms to Israel

• Did not vote for latest spending bill

• Did not support Trump’s tax cuts for the rich

• Did not support the 2008 bank bailout

• Did not support the PATRIOT Act

• Did not support NAFTA

• Currently holds no assets in stock market

• No appearance on Epstein’s flight logs

• Never endorsed a Democrat or Republican candidate

• Has never cooperated or supported the FBI or CIA

• Is not white

• Has never appeared on SNL

• Supports the efforts of wild orcas to tip over yachts 

  

I’m really excited by the candidacy of Yard Rock. I think he’s a solid candidate. It’s hard not to love him. Only the most igneous and sedimentary of American voters would ignore this stone while he’s on a roll. He’s the genuine rolling stone, all right. (And Keith Richards is a mere child by comparison.)

 

I know what you’re going to say next—you’re going to say, “But how is Yard Rock at the podium and on camera? Can he engage and energize the voters, bringing them to a Rocky Mountain high? Will he be able to convince them to vote for his bolder than most other candidates’ platforms?”

Yard Rock, by his nature, is a rather quiet and deep individual. It’ll be rough at first getting the public to know him. He’ll need a little help in this area to smooth things over with those who don't believe a mineral has got what it takes. That’s why I’m volunteering my skills as his speech writer. I want to do him proud and help him wow audiences with a volcanic blast of oratory that will, in turn, make him win the presidency by a landslide.

The avalanche of support Yard Rock’s candidacy will bring will be further amplified when he picks his running mate. There’s no need to mine the field of independent candidates too deeply. It isn’t rock-et science: Yard Rock should cement his run by choosing Dr. Cornel West as his vice president.

Dr. West has numerous good qualities that will support Yard Rock’s strengths. He’s tall, speaks well, and has powerful arms to carry Yard Rock from podium to podium as they campaign. They already agree on so much, particularly on ending wars. They both realize they’ll face a mountain of opposition from candidates from the corporate-owned-and-operated parties. (That is, the duopoly or uni-party, or as they like call themselves “The Ds and the Rs”. They seem to have suffered a fissure at some point and now think they’re actually differentiated strata, but any good rock hound knows better. They’re a composite ore.) 

What have these Wall Street manipulated mannequins of mass destruction really got on the integrity of Yard Rock and the highly regarded Dr. West? Nothing. Nada. They gleefully bury bodies with the backhoe of the military-industrial complex profit-making machine, but they don’t offer the electorate the hope and compassion that Yard Rock and Dr. West grant it. There’s going to be a tremendous earthquake in Washington DC the day the Rock/West team cracks open and exposes the faults lining status quo politics as usual there.

I don’t want Yard Rock and Dr. West to peak too soon, so I’ll end it here for now. I hope I’ve dropped a pebble into your well of consideration, and I recommend you check out a candidate’s web site before making your decision. I’m heartened by the fact that Yard Rock has the backing of Team Orca, a wonderful group of cetaceans who know when their ship has sailed in. (Or is that a yacht?)

We truly can be “boulder together.”

P.S. What sort of campaign theme tune should we have for Yard Rock/Cornel West 2024? I'm leaning toward classic rock, but Dr. West is well known as a jazz lover. Perhaps a fusion of the two genres?

"Why I Adore Joe Biden"

Before we get to our featured blog,  here are some photos from a recent motorcade protest.

Even in this day of "social distancing,"  it's still possible to make your voice heard. Non-violent inmates need to be released from jails where the coronavirus can spread quickly. Toledo-area protestors donned their masks, placed their posters and banners on their vehicles and circled the block, honking and chanting until the prisoners in the Lucas County Jail banged on their windows in response. 

Will the Sheriff release these prisoners to their families until their trial dates? We'll see. But time is of the essence, and compassion is every bit a part of justice and rehabilitation.  Human beings shouldn't be locked up simply because they cannot afford bail. There is no reason to let these non-violent detainees be exposed to and possibly die from COVID-19.  Keep shouting at the walls until they come crumbling down!

"Why I Adore Joe Biden"

I’m excited! I can’t wait to cast my vote for President of the United States for Joe Biden. He’s the man who represents everything I know and love. Things will stay the same under good ol’ Uncle Joe, and that’s the way it should be. We can’t be changing everything to suit the whims of the public, can we? They didn’t go to Ivy League schools, and they can’t even manage an invite to my yachting club regatta. We need to keep things in the hands of those who know best, don’t you think?

And all this blah-blah-blah from the Bernie Bros about Medicare for All —who needs it? I have great private health insurance. It even covered my Botox injections and my tummy tuck last year with just a mere ten thou deductible. Couch change! All red-blooded Americans everywhere love their private health insurance according to Joe. Nobody worth anything would be caught dead walking into a hospital with a Medicare card. You wouldn't catch me doing something so lowbrow! It doesn’t go well with my designer purse and matching heels, either.

These hippie peaceniks who keep saying things about Joe voting for the Iraq War and that he never met a war he didn’t like and that he was a friend of segragationalists in the past? Well I say, “Pfft!” War is great for business and that’s what America is all about – business. My Raytheon stocks skyrocket every time dear Donald rattles his sword, and I’m certain Joe will do the same. He’s got an interest in seeing those stock prices go up and up, especially after all this unnecessary shut down of our economy with this coronavirus hoax. It’s just like the flu I hear. And nobody wants their kids to attend school with ghetto scum. Joe was dead right on that issue. Get over it, crybabies.

Where was Joe during all these coronavirus town halls that Bernie put on? Does it really make a difference that he was taking a nap? Who needs all these extra people crowding up the place anyway? I think we could stand to lose a few thousand hoboes sleeping on our park benches and who would miss a few thousand old people or grocery stockers or cashiers or daycare workers here or there? (I get my food delivered to my door, the back door, I think... I let my cook and housekeeper handle that sort of thing.)  

What I’m saying is that America has more than enough people, so let the virus get rid of a few of them. It’s back to work the rest of you lazy bums so my company can realize a good dividend by the quarter’s end. Joe will make sure America is up and working. What I mean by that is that you all will be back to work so I can continue to live off the money you make for me.

Oh, and you’re begging for free money because you lost your job, along with free health care from the government? Who told you to get sick? Nobody! What do you think government is for? Looking out after your health and safety? No, it’s for keeping business people like me afloat and bailing out our banks when they make a bad decision or two. We are the “job creators” after all. All those million of small businesses in small town America just get in the way of our big monopolies making a bigger profit. The government needs to protect us from these annoying little challengers to the free market system. Go big or go out of business is what I say!

Yes, I do like how Joe believes the oil, gas and coal companies deserve to be given massive tax breaks, and we should hinder solar and wind energy technologies from growing and expanding. We don’t want to use up all the sunlight and wind too quickly—what would we do at the beach if we didn’t have sun and wind? Our sailboats wouldn’t work, and I’d have to go to the salon for a fake tan. No way am I going to turn myself orange like you-know-who!

Speaking of colors, Green New Deal? What kind of deal is that? (I look better in black.) The Earth was put here for our plundering. And gasoline is cheap--I filled up my three Escalades for next to nothing this past week.  The Obama Administration was the leader in bringing fracking to the world. Joe will continue that legacy, no fear. So, frack away and let's enjoy the open road in big thirsty cars. Vroom-vroom!

We want Joe to be in office so he can put in a Supreme Court justice replacement for Ruth Ginsburg who will stand up for a woman’s right to… do something. I know Joe said something about how this old-fashioned Roe v. Wade decision could be let out to pasture. It’s not like women can’t easily jump on a plane or a yacht and go elsewhere for an abortion, right? We don’t want to be paying for  poor women’s mistakes or paying to feed and clothe all their baby mistakes. They need to get off their lazy welfare queen butts and get a job waiting tables. Pull themselves up by their own bootstraps! Government money should be put to better use for the good of all—like bailing out the banks again when they need it in the future.

I certainly want to commend Joe for doing a great job to putting conservative-business-minded men like Antonin Scalia and Clarence Thomas on the Supreme Court back in the day. Joe raked that Anita Hill over the coals for saying the same things about Justice Thomas that some are saying about Joe nowadays—that they sexually harassed women who worked under them. 

There’s the problem right there. These women work under them, and so they deserve to have their butts pinched and be kept in their place. We can’t have uppity-types telling wealthy, powerful men to keep their hands to themselves. They have the money after all. They pay your wages. They own you, you good-for-nothings!

At the end of the day, how can I resist that sexy way Joe comes right up behind me at a thousand dollar a plate fundraiser and breathes in my hair? Ooo! I get shivers down my spine just thinking about his presidential hands all over me. Just call me "Monica," haha! All these people who get bent out of shape because of a few gals who didn’t care for his pawing just haven’t enjoyed having sex with a rich and powerful person before, and they’re just plain jealous of those of us who have. LOL!

I hope you can see now why Joe Biden would make a super president for people like us. He’s older and wealthy and white—so he understands how it feels to have to put up with the rabble that Bernie guy and other Lefties roused up. Joe was a huge supporter of Bill Clinton's wonderful crime bill in 1994 that locked up all those naughty black and brown people who smoked too much marijuana (not sold by our new corporate cannabis operations). He’ll continue to militarize the police so they’ll keep things the way they should be and deal with those troublemakers. We’ll all prosper and not have to worry about our share prices dropping precipitously under a Biden administration.

That’s all we really need in a president anyway, right? More of the same, 'cause happy days are here again! Even Republicans like Joe Biden and say they'll vote for him. With Donny or Joe in the Oval Office, we'll all be raking in the cash and rolling in the dough like we are now. And a healthy stock market is a great thing for all Americans, don't you agree?

For families locked away in the Trump administration's detention centers, there are zero options to stay safe from the coronavirus. Even in the middle of a pandemic, authorities are keeping dozens of families away from their loved ones in facilities with limited access to soap or adequate medical treatment.
Two of the largest U.S. private prison profiteers have already recorded cases of COVID-19 among their staff and the people they've detained. [1] 

There is no time to waste: Rush an urgent message to state and federal legislators and DEMAND that they IMMEDIATELY end the use of private prisons and release vulnerable populations so they can reunite with their families and socially distance safely.

When an outbreak occurs in a detention center, the families there won't be the only ones at risk: the staff who work in these facilities could take the virus home, and put their entire communities at risk of exposure.

Over ten million U.S. citizens filed unemployment claims in just two weeks due to the intentional economic shutdown to prevent the spread of the deadly coronavirus. Unemployment websites are crashing, many people are not even eligible, and the one-time $1,200 checks promised by the government will not even cover many people's rent. In short: millions of Americans have no way to pay their rent or mortgage right now. That's why we need to demand leaders put a freeze on rent and mortgage payments during the pandemic for both individuals and businesses. Sign the petition if you agree! A national landlord association reported that a full one-third of renters in the U.S. failed to pay their rent during the first week of April and May is going to be even worse. While some cities have put a moratoreum on evictions, that just means rent and mortgage payments will pile up during that time and folks will be evicted as soon as those moratoreums are lifted. The only ethical, humane answer is for lawmakers to put a freeze on rent and mortgage payments, and they have the power to do it. We just received great news to provide us all with a glimmer of hope! Since the outbreak of COVID, we knew we had to fight hard for incarcerated people because our elected leaders failed to make a humane plan to address those who would be hardest hit. 

So we decided to launch our fight.

Thousands of Color Of Change members joined us in pushing to make all communication free of charge for incarcerated people and their families during this crisis, and forever. As of last week, people incarcerated at federal prisons have finally been granted free phone calls during the pandemic, up to 500 minutes a month. Before we launched our campaign and more than 18,000 people signed our petition, many incarcerated folks were only given two fifteen-minute free calls per week, some received even less.

This is what’s possible when we unabashedly fight for those most impacted, in the face of elected leaders who show indifference for incarcerated people. We win and keep families connected!

But C.A., we know we have much more to do to ensure ALL incarcerated people receive the humane response needed to ensure their wellbeing. Here is what we need you to do to continue fighting with us:

  1. Share the petition with your friends and family demanding elected leaders grant ALL incarcerated people with free calls. This includes state prisons, county jails, and all detention centers.
